LOGAN, UTAH, June 8, 2007 - Autonomous Solutions today announced it has been awarded a two-year contract from TARDEC to continue its development of a high-speed omnidirectional man-transportable robotic platform for EOD applications. TARDEC is the U.S. Army’s Tank & Automotive Research, Development & Engineering Center - the nation’s laboratory for advanced military ground systems and automotive technology.

LOGAN, UTAH, August 9, 2007 – Team Autonomous Solutions’ robotic vehicle “Ted” will compete in a unique unmanned vehicle race with a first place prize of $2 million. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) announced today that Team Autonomous Solutions is one of 36 teams invited to the final event of the Urban Challenge, a race that pits driverless cars against each other and the clock in a simulated urban environment. These cars must follow California highway laws, handle stop signs, intersections, speed limits, multi-lane roads, and avoid collisions with other vehicles, all without human intervention.

LOGAN, UTAH, June 20, 2007 – Autonomous Solutions, Inc., (ASI), a
designer and manufacturer of unmanned vehicle systems, software, and
components for industrial and military clients, today announced it has
been awarded a two-year development contract from the Naval Explosive
Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV) in Indian Head,
MD, to develop an advanced 3D visualization and tactile feedback system
that will improve the ability of EOD technicians to use robotic
manipulators when handling and manipulating suspicious objects in the
field. NAVEODTECHDIV is the Joint Service activity supporting all
armed services for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD).
